Beach, Fishing, and Cactus Under the Mexican Sun
In the midst of the Canadian winter, the call of the sun was too strong to resist. February, the snow, the cold... It was time to escape. Destination: Mexico City.
We escape with our bags filled with gear and clothing to test: technical t-shirts, t-shirts, and tote bags—ready for adventure. Our itinerary took us from Mexico City to Mazunte, then to Puerto Escondido. In Mazunte, the days stretched out between peaceful beaches, delicious tacos, cold beers, and breathtaking sunsets.
Then, it was off to Puerto Escondido, where the ocean promised an unforgettable experience. On a local fisherman’s boat, we sailed alongside dolphins, rescued a turtle caught in a net, and caught two sailfish and a gigantic marlin. A magical moment, the thrill of fishing and the kindness of the sailors making this day unforgettable.

À bord d’un bateau de pêcheur local, nous avons navigué parmi les dauphins, secouru une tortue prise dans un filet, et pris à la ligne deux poissons voiliers et un marlin gigantesque. Un moment magique, l’adrénaline de la pêche et la gentillesse des marins rendant cette journée inoubliable.
But the adventure didn’t stop there. In search of untamed nature, we made our way to hidden hot springs deep in the jungle. After several hours of hiking and crossing rivers, we finally immersed ourselves in these natural waters, savoring the absolute peace. Accompanied by the Mojave Dad Cap and the Owens Technical T-Shirt of course!
Back in Mexico City, it was time for urban exploration: colorful alleys, fascinating museums, incredible street food. Every street corner revealed a new surprise, a new dish, a new memory to cherish. An intense journey, between sea, jungle, and vibrant city, with our clothes as trusted companions. Tested and approved under the Mexican sun.
